The learning method

The learning method is based on teaching materials that suit you. We do not work with conventional text-books. The course material is selected according to your needs! Courses can focus on language and terms relevant to your field. Repeating words until sentence structure becomes automatic, is a part of the method. Because of the many conversations, the grammar rules become more and more logical. We will talk, read and listen a lot. You will create perfect sentences in a few hours. 

The level of students is determined by a written or/and oral test. Following this test, we will choose the course that suits your level.

During our first (online) meeting the following questions will be asked: number of course taught, start Date, number of students, type of program, materials, your personal wishes, number of course participants and rates.

Your teacher

I am a native French speaker. I have taught French since 2007 to non-speakers. In 2013, after six years of working as a French teacher in a number of language institutes in the Netherlands, I decided to work as an independent teacher.

Roundhouse

Our courses take place at a place called « La RoundHouse » in Northern Brittany (Côtes d’Armor). High-end tourist lodge, our students benefit from an exceptional setting a few hundred metres from the beaches.

With its large interior spaces, its large garden with trees, its terrace for taking lessons in the sun, « La RoundHouse » is an exceptional place designed for the well-being, tranquility and concentration of everyone.

During your stay, the entire space is reserved for you. Laurent, an eco-friendly builder and owner of the place, accompanies you on several outings, all offering opportunities to practice the French language.

We can accommodate up to 6 participants. There are 3 bedrooms. Two of them have a double bed and one has two single beds.
